AFC Whyteleafe Youth Kits Make Their Way to Gambia

We are delighted to share a heart warming story that reflects the true spirit of our football community. Recently a set of AFC Whyteleafe Youth kits made an incredible journey all the way to a young community of players in Gambia. The smiles on the faces of the children and their coaches say everything and we are proud to have played a small part in supporting their footballing journey.

This wonderful connection has been made possible thanks to Joe who previously helped sponsor our Under Nines and Under Tens Panthers teams during their season. Joe gave his time energy and dedication to coach and guide the boys each week and his commitment to youth football has clearly not stopped there.

At the end of the season Joe chose to send the kits to a community in Gambia where young players were in need of proper football clothing. The kits have now been received and the children are proudly wearing them as a real team with their own coaches supporting them. For many of these young players this support brings confidence pride and a sense of belonging which will stay with them throughout their development both on and off the pitch.

The message we received from the community at In2TheBox was filled with gratitude and admiration. They shared their appreciation for Joe and described his kindness as inspiring. His thoughtful gesture has helped to lift their young players and bring joy and opportunity to a group of children who simply love the game.
