ABOUT AFC WHYTELEAFE YOUTH

About Us

AFC Whyteleafe Youth is a proud part of the AFC Whyteleafe family, rooted in a rich footballing tradition dating back to 1946. Originally established as Whyteleafe FC, the club has long been a cornerstone of the local community, fostering talent and passion for the game. In 2021, following the dissolution of the original club, AFC Whyteleafe was formed to continue this legacy, inspired by the story of AFC Wimbledon.

Our youth programme is one of the largest in Surrey, featuring over thirty teams competing in the Surrey Youth League, Epsom & Ewell League, Kent Youth League, and the Junior Premier League. We are committed to providing a safe and inclusive environment, with all managers holding FA Level 1 coaching badges and undergoing DBS and first aid checks.

A key strength of AFC Whyteleafe is our clear player pathway. Both our U18s and 1st team compete in the prestigious Isthmian League — a level of football not commonly accessible through local clubs. This creates a unique and exciting opportunity for young players to progress seamlessly from grassroots football right through to senior competitive levels within the same club.

In 2022, AFC Whyteleafe unified its men's, women's, and youth teams under one banner, creating a cohesive pathway for players from grassroots to senior football. Our home ground at Church Road remains the heart of our operations, symbolising our dedication to community and the beautiful game.
