AFC Whyteleafe Earns Historic Promotion to the Isthmian League
We’re thrilled to share some exciting news for football fans in Whyteleafe – AFC Whyteleafe has officially been promoted to the Isthmian League Division One South East for the 2025–26 season!
This marks a significant milestone for the club, which was founded in 2021 as a phoenix club following the closure of the original Whyteleafe F.C. Since then, AFC Whyteleafe has worked tirelessly both on and off the pitch to rebuild the club and re-establish its presence in the English football pyramid.
The promotion comes after an outstanding season in the Combined Counties Premier Division South, where AFC Whyteleafe finished third. However, due to points deductions handed to Jersey Bulls and Redhill, Whyteleafe were crowned league champions, securing automatic promotion to Step 4 of the National League System.
This achievement reflects the determination, talent and resilience of everyone involved at the club – from players and coaches to the volunteers and supporters who have backed them every step of the way.
With this promotion, Whyteleafe football will once again be represented in the historic Isthmian League, bringing a new level of competitive football back to the local community.
